The Staunton Tree Stewards program was created to foster the 2,746+ trees that were planted as part of our Staunton Legacy Tree Project, as well as many of the oldest trees in Staunton. The trees will be geolocated and assessed for what care they need. Then they will be entered on our interactive map that combines trees, flood plains, and heat islands. 

We will do tree ID walks, and programs teaching people proper mulching, watering, & pruning, and creating an on-going legacy of tree care for our city.
